Struggling with that book?

Unfortunately, most people aren’t writers by trade. It’s not that you can’t write and don’t have amazing things to say. It’s just that writing and preparing a manuscript for publication is not your forté.

Enter your book coach stage left.

A many-times published author (Simon & Schuster, Hay House, Watkins), editor and professional journalist, I have over 30 years of experience in the publishing field. I know exactly what it takes to get your ideas onto the page, your pages organized into a compelling manuscript, and your creation into the hands of agents and publishers.

My non-fiction genre specialties are:

  • Narrative non-fiction
  • Alternative health and healing
  • Psychology
  • Spirituality
  • Self-help
  • Memoir

COACHING PACKAGE:

Four (4) months intensive coaching includes:

  • 16 one-hour-long coaching sessions (4/month)
  • Weekly reading and appraisal of your work with feedback and suggestions in writing
  • 1 half-hour “I’m blocked, please help!” session per month
  • (20 coaching sessions total)
  • Bonus session upon completion: How to Find and Impress Agents and Publishers

This is an intensive coaching experience and a professional commitment on both sides. You must be willing to dedicate no less than 10 hours per week writing. This does not include time spent in research, brain storming, teeth grinding and hair pulling.

It’s a short, powerful labor of love. At the end of four months (if you show up and do the work) you should have a rough draft of your book completed. That is the goal. And what a feeling of accomplishment that is!

Price $6000

PLEASE NOTE:

Editing is not part of this program. I do accept a small number of select manuscripts per year on a case-by-case basis. I can also provide recommendations for other editors.

I do not accept hand-written material. Pages must be submitted in a WORD document.

One coaching session per month may be floated to the following month. Emergencies do happen. But all 20 coaching sessions must be completed within the agreed upon four-month time period.
